Sex toys & gift cards sale
Yes, you read the title correctly. I’m selling my non-porous, sterilizable toys and my Eden Fantasys gift cards at discounted prices. My family has hit a very rough patch. Both my brother and I are unemployed and my brother is no longer receiving unemployment checks. We have a bit of money coming in but it’s only monthly. This month’s money has been spent on some bills and food, but other bills are coming due, we’ll need more food soon and we’re hoping to rent a car in the next couple weeks. Why will we be renting a car? Well, I’m 99.9% positive I’ll have a job that starts later this month and since we are vehicle-less, we’ll need to rent as it’s currently easier to do so.
This was definitely not how I had hoped to start the new year or my new blog. But, of course, mine and my family’s well being comes before sex toys, so having this sale was a no-brainer. So, what do I have for sale? Let’s have a look. Please note that the price in parentheses is what the retailer is asking for and the other price is how much I’m asking for.

I also have a small glass dildo that I can’t find online anywhere. I had gotten it from Adam & Eve, but I can’t find any mention of it there. So, here’s a picture:
I’m asking $5 for it.
All of the glass pieces will be shipped with their padded pouches. The bag that comes with the little dildo isn’t that padded, but I will take care in protecting it within its shipping box.
Now for the gift cards:
I have one that’s $100. I’m asking for $80 $70.
Another is $75. I’m asking for $55 $45.
And a third one that’s $50. I’m asking for $35.
A note: I do not currently have these cards in my possession. They are on their way to me in the mail, so of course you will not have to pay until I actually have them. As for shipping, you’ll have two choices. I can either send your card through snail mail or I can e-mail the code to you. If you choose the latter, please be sure to check your spam/junk mail even if you add my e-mail address to your address book. I have had e-mails slip into my spam folder regardless of my address book. Once I’ve snail mailed your card or e-mailed the code off to you, I cannot be held responsible for whatever happens to it. All sales are final.
As for the toys, all of them will be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized before shipping. If you’re interested in buying any of my toys and would like proof of cleaning, I can send you pictures of the process. I can also send you a current picture of the toy(s) before you buy them. I actually just took some before writing this post.
I will not be shipping the toys outside of the U.S. I really do not feel like dealing with customs. But the gift cards can be shipped anywhere.

If you choose this option, please be sure to list “donation” as your reason for sending money so it’ll be even easier to separate the donations from the toy and card purchases. The same goes for you buyers. Please be sure to list just what it is you’re buying.
You are responsible for shipping and handling. I have a mail scale and I will choose the cheapest shipping option, which is usually Priority Mail. If you’re interested in purchasing any of the above, please send me an e-mail at thestrangestcandy[at]gmail[dot]com detailing what you want and any requests for pictures or questions you have. I will then e-mail you the total price of your purchase including shipping. Once the money you’ve sent me via paypal has been deposited into my bank account (takes mine 2-3 business days), then I will send you your items. Please do not send me any money before I give you the go-ahead.

I know times are really tough for everyone right now and I’d rather be doing anything that asking for help, but sometimes you’ve got to swallow your pride and do what’s best for your family.
I don’t know if you’ve tried it before, but you may have more success selling your books if you list them on Half.com. I’ve done a good job clearing off my dustier bookshelves that way.
